Hello makro-friends,
A tiny little jewel from my morning butterfly hunt.
I saw a beautiful overcast sky when I wake up and i thought that could be my butterfly day.
Unfortunately I didn´t find what I was actually looking for but I found this small Lycaenidae sp. trying to warm his body.
I took several shots of it but this one maybe was the best one IMHO.
I hope you like it,
Remy

der_kex hat geschrieben:Hi Remy,
again you show a picture with phantastic colours and a good composition! Well done!
A little pity is the loss of sharpness against the left forewing and the right antenna.
But anyway the image is successful in my view.
Thanks a lot Christian!
Totally agree with you but it was impossible to take two shots on the same place.
It was flying all around and posing just a few seconds qite challenging to chase it and forthat´s why focus on the wings is not the perfect one .Finally I decided to use a wide apperture to blurr the background for losing some sharpness.

best regards,

Hi Remus,
Congratulations for 3000 posts and thank you for being here und for your
wonderful images.
You present the Butterfly in a wonderful composition and colours.
The loss of Sharpeness on the left forewing is not a problem for me.
Great shot. Well done!
Best regards
Ute

Hey Remus,
a picture full of life, well composed with the right amount of DOP. The colors are wonderful yet not too strong. A picture that is truely remarkable.
Greetings, Christian

Hi Remy,
In view of the special situation and the short time that you had at your disposal it is indeed a very good picture. I think that I would have applied a big aperture, too, in order to get such a beautiful background. The colours are fantastic and I love the composition of this pic. Great job.
regards Patrick
